# Rubido Linux 5.0 Uninstall

Use the Decommission Node flow before removing Rubido Linux from a Mac. The
browser flow only prepares an approval envelope; the privileged runner performs
the disk mutation after confirmation and macOS admin authentication.

## Required Gates

- Preview the full disk layout.
- Identify only Rubido-created installer partitions.
- Type the required confirmation text.
- Authenticate as a macOS administrator.
- Delete only the approved Rubido installer partitions.
- Resize the macOS APFS container.
- Verify the final disk layout.

## Stop Conditions

Stop before mutation when:

- Any candidate partition is ambiguous.
- The preview includes a macOS APFS system/data/recovery partition.
- The typed confirmation does not match the target node.
- macOS admin authentication fails.
- The final resize plan leaves less than required macOS headroom.

## After Uninstall

Keep the decommission approval record, before/after disk previews, and smoke
result with the node lifecycle record. Delete any local queued smoke reports only
after the approval node has received the final decommission report.
